Die Kamera I is an exploration of technological self-reflection, where a DSLR camera is both the subject and the observer. In this installation, a DSLR camera captures and displays a video of its own methodical disassembly, creating a loop of deconstruction and observation.
Through this self-referential act, the artwork challenges perceptions of the camera as an impartial observer, revealing its intrinsic connection to the process it records.
