Imprint I presents a dialogue between object and image, between reality and its representation, between traces and its narratives – using the traces on a well-used wooden work table. At the center of this weathered table, a section is covered with a sheet of white photo paper. Suspended just above the table is a photograph that precisely reproduces the covered area, mirroring the hidden surface beneath.
