On this page I gathered articles on my work as well as other resources. I'm working on my international reputation but for now most of the original texts are in German only.
"In her exhibition, the artist works specifically with quotations and the contrast between objective journalism and the inner workings of the surroundings."
An article on my first solo exhibition in 2013 in "Kunstverein Gießen" can still be found online here.
Nina Weymann at the opening of her exhibition at Kunstverein Gießen
"Things are going well for the young photojournalism student. She has just spent some time in New York and on top of that has won a sponsorship award."
Another article published when I was still studying in 2011 can be found here.
"A great, authentic lecturer"
A participating photographer from one of my workshop shared his experiences here.
"(...) capturing mood is her daily bread. She lectures from the hip on the activity patterns of mirror neurons, the basics of portrait photography, and the pitfalls of using stock photography."
And this is an article on a talk I was honered to give at the pressclub of Brunswick.
This video is a talk I gave at 12min.me Hanover - which was followed by a 12 minutes Q&A-session.
I want to give a big shout out to all the great friends, companions and supporters around Toastmasters! You have – and still are – helping me to turn my wishful thinking into reality. Thank you so much!
I love to get in touch with people to talk about (my) photography in person. I teach photography, give interviews and talks whenever possible. This is because the publication and exhibition of photography lack typically the interaction with the receiver.
So what do photographs make you feel? Make you think? Is it what I hoped it would be?
For me such occasions turn a oneway-communication into a cooperative circle. The following are a few examples of occasions where I was allowed to speak – in all different kinds of environment.
Thanks to all the people who have asked me to do so. To be continued...
